In celebration of it’s 80th year in publication, I thought I'd use Bastille Day as an excuse to show how many different looks this beloved tome has donned over the years and to share some of the finer points I find myself discussing with customers and other collectors when a killer old copy of Larousse, comes up for sale.

We were never short for culinary talent at Heirloom Book Company.
In fact, one of the things we're best remembered for are the terrific dinner parties we hosted in the shop with visiting chefs & cookbook authors.
Once upon a time, Chef Virginia Willis came to Heirloom to celebrate both the Charleston Wine + Food Festival and the release of her, at that time new, cookbook, Basic to Brilliant, Y’all.
